Danny Sullivan opened Big Dimps BBQ with His wife Leah Brandfon in November 2019. With their combined restaurant and catering experience along with Danny’s BBQ expertise and Leah’s Pastry background, Big Dimps BBQ offers a full service catering experience serving both traditional and modern takes on barbecue and dessert that are sure to be memorable experiences for all who try.
Danny And Leah are both Graduates of NYC’s Institute of Culinary Education. After Graduation in 2008 Danny started his journey working in Chef Marc Murphy’s LandMarc at the Time Warner Center. While he was here he discovered how much he loved working with Simple ingredients and techniques. He followed this position with His first Sous Position at the wildly Popular Dinosaur BBQ in Harlem NY. Here he honed his BBQ skills and learned the “Feel” of BBQ. In 2016 Danny and Leah Moved to Burlington VT where Danny Took on Executive Chef Responsibilities For the nationally acclaimed Bluebird BBQ owned by Sue Bette, a James Beard nominated operator. In 2018 Danny and Leah returned home and welcomed “lil Dimps” Henry James Sullivan, there first child.
Upon graduating the Pastry Program at I.C.E Leah has Worked at Fine dining restaurants such as the Castle in Tarrytown Ny, Farm to Table Restaurant Vermont Tap House, DInosaur BBQ, Bluebird BBQ, Aux Delice, Cakesuite and as a private chef for multiple families in CT.
Leah also carries a degree in early childhood education and is an awesome Mom to “lil Dimps”

A locally sourced whole hog slow smoked and continuously basted served with 3 sides, salad, and sweet dinner rolls. This package is great for larger groups. This package can feed 75-250 people.
